We are a traditional publishing company with over 20 years of experience in publishing books in the UK. Unfortunately most of the new books we release are from our current stable of well established writers. This means that a lot of new authors are not being given the proper chance to have their books published.



This is industry wide problem is one that we want to fix and it is apparent that the only way to do this is is to give new authors the proper support and help they need. This is why have setup this new imprint committed to publishing books by new authors.

What's an imprint?

New Author Publishing is an imprint - so we are a small publishing company that focuses exclusively on new authors but it also means we have the backing and are part of a much larger publishing house.

An imprint is any name that a publishing company uses to publish their books. Some smaller companies will only have one imprint and that will be their company name, whereas large publishing houses will have many different imprints.

wHy is it so hard for new authors to get published?

A reluctance of bookstores to stock their book, an increase in competition from new authors and the explosion of self publishing has meant that its harder than ever for new authors to get their books published and sold in the traditional way.

Our research shows that it there are particular areas that new authors need support with in order to become successful and because most publishing companies aren't setup to support them their books tend to perform poorly compared to their peers.

This is why we setup New Author Publishing to help support new authors who want to have their books published.
